The Salvation Army has changed lives and given hope to countless people throughout the nation. But it never does it alone.

Opportunities

The Salvation Army relies on volunteers each and every day, whether it's serving a meal, packing food boxes, mentoring a community member, sorting through Christmas donations, or ringing the Red Kettle bell during the holiday season.  It’s people just like you who make our programs possible by choosing to give your time.

Volunteers play a huge part in The Army's daily operations.  When you join our team of volunteers, you’re helping us build a community where lives are changed and hope is found. Volunteers are one of our strongest resources in meeting the needs of a community.  The Salvation Army's mission statement sets the precedent for what is expected, "The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.  Its message is based on the Bible.  Its ministry is motivated by the love of God.  Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination."
